A Collection, which was formed within 1946, includes works by major British artists of the twentieth century & continues to acquire innovative and important act by emerging creative person now. It maintains the policy of adventuresome & well-timed acquisitions, responding apace to developments around artistic practice. the collection is managed by the Conservator when purchases come advised by a panel of creative person & experts whose membership lives for xii months. A Arts Council Collection is managed per Hayward Gallery, South Bank Centre on behalf of Arts Council England and is based at a Hayward in London and at Longside, Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
